Round Body Blind Nut Open
OPEN End Blind Nuts
The open ended style of this rivet nut allows the stud, or male threaded component, to thread through the rivet nut without limiting the length or protrusion of the male threaded part.
The knurled body of the rivet nut provides increased resistance to turning in the application – especially when they are installed into softer materials.
Round Body Large Flange [FLAT Head] Blind Nut
Benefit of the Serrated Large Flange type.
- Prevention of spinout due to the serrations.
- Handles high torque applications
- Serrations hold rivet nut in place
- Large diameter head

Typical uses
Round Body Countersunk [CSK] Blind Nut
The countersunk head is often chosen as it will sit flush within the application, leaving an aesthetically pleasing flat and smooth finish. The full countersunk head of this rivet is stronger than the reduced countersunk type but is also deeper meaning that it can only be used in material thicknesses greater than 1.5mm.
The knurled body of the countersunk rivet provides increased resistance to turning in the application, especially when installed in softer materials.

Typical uses
Always countersink at 90° so that the head of the installed Rivet Nut protrudes about 0.1 mm above your workpiece. This ensures direct contact with the assembled component.
If you do not have the possibility to countersink the sheet to achieve a flush finish, consider using the low profile head RCSK – Reduced CSK or Small CSK head type described below.
Round Body Small Countersunk [RCSK] Blind Nut
The reduced countersunk head allows this type of rivet nut to be used in applications without any extra hole preparation, providing a low profile flush fit to the application. This enables reduced countersunk rivet nuts to be installed in post-painted or pre-coated applications without damaging the surface. Countersink drilling or dimpling of the parent material can be eliminated.
