Fastener Solutions for New Product Development
New product development is essential to the growth of companies. Fastening technology has also evolved over the years and there are a number of fasteners now available for specific niche uses which can give your new product an advantage.
We have a wide range of fasteners – Nuts, Washers, Rivets, Retaining Rings, Screws etc to assist with new product development.
Reach our to us with your specific requirements and we would be happy to assist and guide you in selecting the optimal fastener solution for your new product.
We can provide a large range of products and sizes for testing to ensure your assembly is perfect.
STAINLESS STEEL FASTENERS
We recommend using Stainless steel fasteners in your designs instead Carbon Steel as they offer many advantages.
-
- Mechanical properties of SS-A2 and SS-A4 are similar to 8 grade and very different from 8.8 Class. Elongation is more reducing chances of crack failure.
- Corrosion resistance of SS-A2 and SS-A4 is high and vastly superior to Zinc coating.
- Stainless Steel parts are fully RoHS compliant.
- There is no problem of Hydrogen embrittlement with SS-A2 and SS-A4 against Zinc coating.
Screws for Assembling in Plastics – JCPlas Thread Forming Screws
Safe and easy screwing directly into thermoplastic elements
High durability of screw joints
Smooth material flow due to optimized thread geometry for low stress generation in joints
High torsion and tensile strength

MicroFast – Micro Size Screws, Nuts and Washers
As products keep getting smaller and smaller, there is a real need to have very small screws and nuts to connect a number of mini components.
We have a special range of micro size screws and nuts starting from 1mm onwards for connecting mini components in a number of applications such as Mobile Phones, Sensors, Electronics, Laboratory equipment etc.

JCSlim – Low Profile Screws
Our new innovation – “JCSlim” Ultra-Low Profile screws range can give your new product a competitive edge.
Ultra-thin head screws are up to 77% thinner than conventional screw heads which makes possible flat external surface and gives a low-profile sleek design and saves weight.
These are available in a number of threads and designs.
Pre Assembled SEMS Screws
SEMS Screws are screws pre-assembled with free spinning washers. The assembly typically contains one plain washer and one split spring washer.
The washers are held in place with the major diameter of the thread being larger than the hole of the washer. This is achieved by inserting the washers before thread rolling.
SEMS screws provide design and manufacturing efficiencies by combining multiple parts, captive washer and screw, into one versatile fastener.
This has many benefits which have revolutionised assembly manufacturing processes.
Captive Screws
Captive screws are specially designed to lock into position in a hole, enabling easy setting up and removing of the attached pieces even without the complete removal of the screw.
Captive screws are used when fasteners must remain attached to equipment, such as in cover panels.
They are a requirement for several machinery safety standards. Captive screws are very useful where maintenance of the product may be required.
RIVET TECHNOLOGY
BLIND RIVET NUTS
Sustainable solutions with various head and shank forms
- One-side installation
- Easy assembly saves operational costs versus thread forming in sheets
- Possible to install in any application for sheet metal or composite
- Permanent mechanical fastening
- Protect workpiece without deformation or damage when assembled
BLIND RIVETS
Cost-effective solution with open / closed end
One-sided installation with no need to access the back of the workpiece
High quality and performance
Number of material combinations and strengths, head styles, mandrels, grip thicknesses and surface treatments
Good vibration resistance
STRUCTURAL BLIND RIVETS
Strong solution for structural assembly
Perfect for applications with a high requirement to tensile and shear forces
Can replace up to four standard rivets
Can be installed from one side only
Durable and reliable fixation
Available for all materials, different strengths and assembly thickness

SELF CLINCHING TECHNOLOGY
Self Clinching Fasteners are easy to install fasteners that provide load carrying threads in metal sheets too thin to be tapped.
They provide strong load bearing male or female threads in thin steel and aluminium panels. Installation is neat and easy.
Various types of Self Clinching Fasteners are available:
- Self Clinching Nuts
- Self Clinching Studs
- Self Clinching Standoffs
- Self Clinching Blind Fasteners
- Flush Nuts
Advantages:
- Provide strong threads in thin metal components
- Easy installation
- High push-out and torque out resistance
- No re-tapping necessary
- Reverse side of sheet remains flush
- Low installed cost
Self Clinching Fasteners are available in Mild Steel and Stainless Steel

RETAINING RINGS OR CIRCLIPS

Securing elements for shafts and bores
Ensure smooth rotation
Compensate wider diameters and therefore allow higher tolerances
